Feeding School Supplies

During the visit food stuffs were delivered. These included:

• 8 x 50kg bags of HEPS,
• 8 x 25 kg bags of mealie meal,
• 6 x 5 litres of cooking oil,
• 50kg kapenta,
• 5kg salt and
• 20 x 1kg sugar.

The food stuffs were provided with the assistance from Kondanani Zambia and the children are fed at break time. This assistance has contributed to increased enrollment and retention rates, improved health of the children and good academic performance due to good concentration levels in class.

The school also received assorted supplies such as pencils, pens, note pads, rubbers, rulers, folders, note books and glue. The supplies were a donation by a team from United States called Zambia Project. The materials will assist some of the children whose parents or guardians cannot afford to buy them.
